This is a real simple but ultimately fantastic recipe for my toffee ham. If you leave it out on the table I guarantee that you will steal a slice every time you walk by.
Start off with a piece of back or streaky bacon joint and simply place into a roasting tray and cover with a bottle of runny honey. This does seem like a lot initially but it will reduce and intensify.
Put the whole thing into a pre heated oven at 180c and baste every 5 mins. The honey will
thicken and darken and after around an hour you will have an amazing glossy honey toffee
coating over your bacon.
