We turned a wooden bowl out of a single piece of ash. The next process was to burn out the soft summer growth from between the harder winter growth rings to highlight the natural grain. From this we took a mould to produce the final piece, a very satisfying process.
This has a food safe coating and a cork base to protect the surface you put it on to.
