This piece was turned to a thickness that allowed the sunlight to shine through. As the green wood naturally dries and distorts, working with the material, this movement has been encouraged to exaggerate beyond where it would normally of settled.
Size: diameter 30cm height 12cm
Provenience: Made from a mature beech tree that succumbed to the fungi Meripilus giganteus and was felled October 2025.
